Kangana Ranaut playing a role of a divorcee in 'Simran'

Now before eyebrows are raised and Kangana Ranaut finds herself in another scandal, we want to tell you it's only her character in Hansal Mehta's next, 'Simran'.

The actress is currently shooting for the film in Atlanta. Kangs is known to essay unconventional roles; she has played a dacoit in 'Revolver Rani' (2014) and an athlete in 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' (2015). Now, she has yet another chance of playing a real character.

Kangs is no ordinary divorcee, moping over what went wrong in her marriage. Instead, she is out to seek happiness and knows how to get it — whatever the cost may be.
