Anushka Sharma, we hear, will be play a cameo in the Sanjay Dutt biopic. An industry source says, "Anushka has been offered a special appearance by Rajkumar Hirani and, in all probability, she will be doing it because of her rapport with the director."
Anushka starred in Hirani's 2014 blockbuster, 'pk', starring Aamir Khan. Sanjay Dutt will also be Anushka's third film with 'Bombay Velvet' co-star Ranbir Kapoor, though details of the character are not clear yet.
The Dutt biopic was slated to roll this month, but will now start next January. Ranbir has wrapped up 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and Anushka is shooting with Shah Rukh Khan in Prague for Imitaz Ali's next. Sanjay will also be seen in the film. The filmmaker is yet to cast for characters playing Dutt's ex wife Richa Sharma, and partner, Rhea Pillai.
