Vidya Balan who is one of the very few entertainers from the film industry who has managed to mark her place in the hearts of many. She has been inspiring the women of our country with her women oriented films and has been amazing at it. She has been the Festival ambassador for the Indian Film Festival which was held in Melbourne since the past 5 years.
Taking a step further Vidya just launched a new charity initiative in Melbourne known as the ` Train the Trainers` in partnership with the Latrobe University and is also supported by the Victorian Government. When Vidya was asked bout her views on this she said `I feel very proud of our film festival that is now establishing its charity initiative with our train the trainers initiative to bring specialists and teachers from Australia to work with teachers in India and help support our teachers in making education more inclusive".
The cause and the idea of this initiative runs parallel with the introduction of a new law by the Indian Government which has taken care of the people and children with special need and reserved a certain number of seats for them in all the educational institutes. For this very cause a few professionals who have been skilled with dealing with such kids will fly down to India in the month of November to train the educators in India which will make them skilled enough to deal with these kids.
